We have been a friend of Bobby and his family since his days at the University of Georgia. He has been a loyal friend throughout all of these years. I have always stated that the quality of a person is a direct barometer to the quality of those that raised them. I remember Robert in that he physically built his own house. But I also know that he built a home not just physically, but through love and caring. Both are very impressive. He will be missed by many, but remembered by anyone who he touched. God rest his soul.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Alonso's passing. As a teen, and classmate of his son, I always enjoyed my visits to his house. He was a man who loved life, loved God, loved his family, and treated others well. You will be missed, Mr. Alonso. I am proud that I had the honor to know you, and wish that I had made it to Savannah more often, with an opportunity to visit & enjoy your company, and that of your family. Godspeed, sir. My prayers go out to Mrs. Maureen Alonso, Bobby, and Lisa. They always treated me as family, and I always thought of all of them i the same way. God bless you all.
